Stanton LLP Managing Partner, James M. Stanton, was one of just 30 Texas practitioners named to 2017 Benchmark Litigation’s, nationwide, Under 40 Hot List,  which includes lawyers who have been “deemed the most promising emerging talent in their respective litigation communities in the US and Canadian litigation community by peers and clients.”

James was the first in his family to attend college and by the age of 40, had served the State of Texas as Judge of the 134^th Civil District Court, published two books, and founded the award-winning litigation boutique, Stanton LLP.

James is a graduate of Baylor law school and his courtroom skills have been profiled in The Washington Post and Texas Lawyer.
