Amanda L. Cottrell
Amanda L. Cottrell guides clients through all their business disputes whether in the courtroom or the boardroom. She primarily represents energy and natural resources companies. She works diligently to protect their interests by litigating property, contract and accounting disputes to achieve positive outcomes in line with their business objectives.
Her practice also focuses on white collar criminal defense and criminal investigations. Amanda has worked on civil antitrust class actions, high profile investigations of public entities, and internal investigations of private companies facing potential criminal charges.
Prior to joining Stanton LLP she practiced in the commercial and energy litigation sections at Locke Lord LLP.
Outside the courtroom, Amanda and her husband Kyle, a VP at JPMorgan Chase, support the Laundry Project, a non-profit organization that aids low-income neighborhoods by offering free laundry services to families who don’t have access to washers and dryers in their homes. They also enjoy chasing their toddler, Tess, around the house and on hiking trails in the hill country of Texas.
The lawyers at Stanton LLP really listen to understand our business and seem to know what we are thinking about without us having to say it.
