Bethanie Livernois counsels businesses and individuals through complex legal problems. She works to understand every client’s needs to find the best solution, whether in the courtroom or the boardroom.
Prior to joining Stanton LLP, Bethanie worked as a litigation associate in the Dallas office of Andrews Kurth Kenyon, LLP, with a particular focus on white collar and securities litigation. Bethanie has experience conducting internal investigations, representing companies in Securities and Exchange Commission matters, and in high stakes commercial litigation.
Bethanie graduated summa cum laude from SMU Dedman School of law, where she was a Hatton W. Sumner Scholar. At SMU, she practiced as a student attorney in both the Child Advocacy and the Crimes Against Women clinics. Bethanie also served as Editor for the SMU Air Law Symposium and received the Dallas Bar Association’s Securities Law Scholarship.
Bethanie and her husband, Dallas plaintiffs’ attorney Michael Roos, attend Rejoice Lutheran Church in Coppell, Texas - the same church Bethanie grew up attending. She volunteers her time through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and is an alumni panel speaker at Austin College. Bethanie competes in an intramural softball league on the weekends, often with and against fellow Stanton LLP employees Steven Gersten and Kaitlyn Brimager.
I have hired trial lawyers for over 30 years, and Stanton LLP is my first choice for my toughest cases.
