Britaney is a value-driven litigator, committed to delivering strategic advice, personalized solutions, and steadfast advocacy to her clients. Born into a family of entrepreneurs, she has firsthand knowledge of the impact regulation, legislation, and litigation can have on business objectives. With these factors in mind, she takes a holistic approach to her cases, providing solutions that address immediate legal needs as well as long-term business goals.
Britaney earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law. She began her legal career as a law clerk on the Washington Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, working closely with judges on a wide range of civil, criminal, and administrative matters. This experience gave her invaluable insight into the judicial decision-making process, where she allies with clients involved in state and federal litigation. Britaney’s clerkship experience instilled the value of compelling brief writing, sophisticated legal analysis, and, above all, being the most prepared in the room. These values form the cornerstones of her practice. Before joining Stanton LLP, Britaney practiced at a Dallas boutique where she represented financial institutions, real estate investors, and developers in complex commercial litigation.
In her spare time, Britaney enjoys organic gardening, volunteering with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, and road-tripping to parts unknown.
The lawyers at Stanton LLP really listen to understand our business and seem to know what we are thinking about without us having to say it.
