With over 27 years of legal experience, John has successfully tried cases before juries in state and federal court and has argued before state and federal appellate courts. He is not just a seasoned commercial litigator. He is known for forging partnerships with his clients to advise them on best business practices and has worked extensively with boards of directors, audit and operational committees, general counsel, business teams, and outside local counsel. Clients trust him to conduct sensitive internal investigations and to provide proactive training and counseling to employees.
Prior to joining Stanton LLP, John practiced at national trial and boutique firms in New York City and Dallas. He represents companies in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including employment discrimination, corporate governance, construction, real estate, professional liability, banking, securities, and product liability.
John graduated with honors from Amherst College and Fordham University School of Law, and is a dedicated alumnus, having attended every Amherst-Williams football game since 1985. John is immensely proud of his two college-age daughters, followed closely by his decade-plus of nonprofit board service. In his leisure time, he enjoys exploring restaurants in Dallas.
