Oni's dedication to helping those in need is what motivates her success. She has experience in Family Law, Criminal Law, Probate, Civil, and Commercial Litigation.
Oni began her career with Dallas Independent School District. Her passion for the justic system led her to start her own law practice, where she focused on guiding her clients through a variety of civil disputes. In 2017 joined the Dallas County Distict Attorney's Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Oni prosecuted an array of cases. She joined a team of pioneering prosecutors who founded the Homeless Diversion Court, which is the first of its kind in Dallas County history.
Oni earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While in law school she served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Josephina Rendon of the 165th Judicial District Court. Holding true to her commitment to community service, Oni was awarded the Access to Justice Pro Bono Award for her volunteer work with the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation.
In her free time, Oni loves to swim, travel and watch old movies. Although she has called Texas home for 15 years, she is still a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan.
